The cartel stuff is mostly redundant. Anyone who saw BrBa knows all they need to about Gus and Hector, yet the prequel tries to give them some extra development that comes off as filler.

I still think the final four are great for Saul resorting to his most artless, hateful cons which finally bring him to an end, but there was no need for BrBa flashbacks.
