Oh I didn’t remember that you liked the later BCS seasons more, I think I didn’t read your final recap because I hadn’t finished the series and was afraid of spoilers.

I think that Jimmy and Mike are less compelling characters once their moral ruin is far enough along, and Gus is only a character that works for me as someone for other people to react to. He’s boring in and of himself. Lalo is just a comicbook villain. I got pretty sick of the cartel plot. I was also mostly bored by the first two or three of the final four episodes. Actually, speaking of a 5 season limit (which we were below), I wish that show had one and seasons 5 and 6 were condensed. And those were the two seasons that I was finally seeing for the first time. Up through season 4 I’d re-watched the entire series every time a new season came to Netflix.
