I know that it used to be a popular sport amongst game nerds to bash SML for having the same graphics as the original Mario, at least. I never had a Game Boy emulator; I had a Super Game Boy and only really ever used it to play Wario Land and the Game Boy 1994 Donkey Kong, which I’d very much be willing to re-play at this age.
