There’s a brand new store in my town called Nerd Nation and they have all sorts of used video game stuff and classic collectibles. On their first day open I walk in and RIGHT THERE is the fucking Holy Grail I’ve been hoping to stumble upon for decades. I never thought I would be in the same room as this cartridge ever again, let alone that I’d be able to buy it and play the game again, but sure enough, that itch has been scratched. And yes, I need the CART goddammit, I never downloaded this sacred youth memory on emulator even though I could’ve (and on Reddit, they’re grilling me for that, when they’re not telling me I look like Kurt Cobain in the pic.)

$404.83 with taxes and I happily paid every penny. And I’ll remind you, I loved this game in 1995, well before an unlikely cult formed around it (it wasn’t a particularly well-reviewed game in magazines, IIRC.)
