what a joke.....
Bad Company - bland and mediocre…a “supergroup” whose members all made better music with better bands who are not in (Free, King Crimson, Mott the Hoople)
Chubby Checker - he made one song
Joe Cocker - all of his songs were covers.....admittedly mimicked Ray Charles....best musical moment was Mad Dogs and Englishmen, which was a tour band where others (primarily Leon Russell) carried the band
Cyndi Lauper - always saw her as more of an 80’s novelty act…although I dont think of Mariah Carey as rock per se, definitely think shes more deserving on the same criteria that Whitney Houston got in
Outkast - acceptable entry if you’re going to spotlight hiphop - I’m fine with them
Soundgarden - always like Alice in Chains better
The White Stripes - prefer Jack White solo to the White Stripes
time is running out on Fairport Convention, King Crimson, Little Feat and several others who are much more deserving in my opinion
