Now you don’t REALLY think I didn’t know about the “Brian freaked out over ‘Fire’ story” do you? Of course I did.
I cracked up when I watched Love & Mercy and they had the guy playing Van Dyke Parks dressed wearing the exact paisley clothes that Parks was wearing in that nerdy photo of him in the booklet that came with the Sessions.
“Heroes & Villains” is a classic song that I think I’ve really burned myself out on. I’ve never been that much of a stickler about what version of it I’m listening to, so if I’m not “supposed” to think the 2004 BWPS version or the 2011 Sessions version is the “definitive” version, well whoopee doo.
