Yeah you know that story. Was just mentioning it for the sake of it.
I need to rewatch Love and Mercy. Loved it but only saw it once.
I like how H&V is such a malleable tune. I do love the “in the cantina” section though so I at least want to hear that section included.

I don’t listen to tons of different smile mixes. But usually when I see one is highly recommended I’ll check it out. The Dae Lims version is one of the most interesting recent versions. It uses AI to come up with a bunch of the uncompleted Smile segments. iffyiness of the AI use aside, the tech opens up a lot of new options for remixing the album. there’s some really interesting ideas and arrangments. In particular check out the versions of Great shape/Barnyard, Do You Like Worms, Child Is Father Of The Man and Love to Say Dada. But every track has some really cool additions and details.
