XTC - The Wheel and the Maypole - A two part song where the first half is great and the second part is kinda meh.

Iron Maiden - Hallowed be Thy Name - This band had many cases of cramming in too many guitar solos for their own good. So I’ll just go with this example.

Midnight Oil - Scream in Blue - I still like the entire song, but the second half cannot hold a candle to the exhilarating instrumental first. It had to grow on me.
