they should have put Where Did The Ordinary People Go on the album, better than the rest of Colin’s tracks imo. Spiral is also pretty good. Say it maybe is just OK, though no worse than his other contributions. Maybe Wasp Star could have been improved with some of these swapped in. I like the album a fair bit (My Brown Guitar is one of my fav songs)) but it pretty much plays like an Andy solo record with some Colin tracks thrown in. Dave Gregory leaving pretty much ended the band imo, his contrubutions kinda make the difference between XTC being an actual band and being Andy Partridge + sidekick Colin. Andy is too much of a grump these days to cash the reunion checks.
