Idk, after playing troll levels on Mario Maker for a while the lost levels aren’t that crazy. I think it’s a pretty interesting game from the perspective of them trying to make a sequel before the typical tropes of what a mario sequel should be were in place. If given the choice to play the original mario or the lost levels I’d probably choose the lost levels cus the original mario is insanely easy and the lost levels are just more interesting.

The beat the game 8 times thing is ridiculous, but i think newer editions dont have that anymore? When I beat it I got to the letter worlds and I’m pretty sure I didnt beat it 8 times.
My biggest critique of the game really is that the level design is really haphazard and unpolished. but thats also what makes it interesting.

AVGN is unwatchably bad these days so I’d prefer some other youtuber does a good video on it instead.
