Nothing much to add. I’m sure you’re eagerly awaiting my epic rundown of my recent Robert Heinlein binge, coming soon after I finish one more short one!

Desire was the only Dylan album that really counts as musically adventurous (well, the only good one - maybe he went ’80s at some point, I’m not at all curious even out of morbidity). It’s Top 10 but not Top 5 for me, mainly because while because it has quite a few really really good songs there’s no GREAT Dylan classics here, though Sara and Hurricane come close. Trivia: in 1974 Portugal had a revolution and gave up their overseas empire, resulting in the independence of....you guessed it. I’ve always suspected Bob snuck in a sly political dance number in there that hardly anyone actually noticed! Why else would he pick that of all countries?! He scans headlines for song ideas, you know.
