the songs on overnite are better than on the other albums i suppose. when youre listening to them all in a row they blur together but over the years that record has risen to the top as one of my go-to zappa albums and my fav from this era.

Check out the new album by Geurilla Toss “You’re Weird Now”, Stephen Malkmus produced it and plays on a bunch of the songs and it’s a great record, a bit talking heads/devo/b52s kindaa thing but with a proggy slacker vibe. one of my fav recent albums.
