I got a mild chuckle out of the scene where Not Cobain is stumbling around his house wearing a girl’s dress, hunting boots and a redneck hunting cap, pointing his shotgun at whatever. The scene with the Mormons is just bizarro. I sort of like how when he’s stumbling around at the beginning you see a train zoom past in the background, kind of a cool shot. But I didn’t like ANY of those empty, mumbling Gus Van Sant movies–Elephant and Gerry were probably even worse, but I don’t even feel like rewatching them.

Flea was in a number of movies before RHCP even hit it big–he’s in Back To The Future Part II!
