(David Allan Coe’s “Fuck Anita Bryant” if it doesn’t pull up – my Pride Month anthem that I posted one June on Facebook. Village People (whom I like unironically) or selections from Of Montreal’s The Gay Parade other years. Srsly look it up if it doesn’t load. It’s good.)
the latter being a reminiscence occasioned by that Trucker Fag comic. Apparently David Allan Coe waa changed by his time locked up, too – he had apparently made liberal use of the prison bitch. Total synthesis of casual acceptance of degenerate homosexuality and toxic masculinity – the atmosphere throughout the two dirty albums is a topsy-turvy inverted world (off-kilter like Uranus!!!) of an utter debauchery of casual perversion and violence. They’re very underrated as a pair that fit neatly on one CD. They’re an outlier among DAC’s catalogue, but they stand just as proudly as “Take This Job and Shove It” or “If That Ain’t Country”
but I forgot to select-all>copy the text and it disappeared into an error page. What a pity.
