but I know there are still a lot of people who like the NBC Merlin miniseries from the late 90s, starring the also late Sam Neill. I had to watch it for a class, it was okay. It had a surprisingly good cast for a TV miniseries.

I remember the NBC miniseries having some weaknesses, like really bad special effects when they get to, say, Scylla, or Eric Roberts doing a really bad job playing Penelope’s evil suitor at the end.
