The main thing I think about with Kiss From A Rose is that it’s a Trevor Horn production and therefore there is a direct line from Yes to Seal.

Gangsta’s Paradise has gotta be one of biggest songs completely eclipsed by the Weird Al parody. It’s just straight-up the better version in every way.
