Yeah, I’m going to try for all the big Cardiacs albums, but I’m gonna warn you I have a strong feeling I’m not going to be able to assimilate Sing To God very well, which I’ve already tried to listen to as a sort of background music thing and jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezus criminitley. Well maybe I’ll still like more of it than Trout Mask y’know? If I really get into the bnad, I’ll go back and listen to the cassette stuff that they were doing seven or eight years before their debut album (!!).

“RES” did sort of stick with me, I’ll wager. I worry that this band may end up being more “mind blowing” than “I actually like listening to them” but we’ll have to see.

Do you agree that the big four hits on Thriller overshadow the rest of it? I like “Carousel” a lot.
