I’ve noticed that when i complain in certain communities online that films are increasingly humorless - I get dudebros telling me that humor has no place in “SERIOUS” films. It’s never occured to them that most great fiction is funny in some part. Don Quixote, Hamlet, King Lear, War and Peace etc.
