The moment I saw Joseph Delage’s bleached blonde hair, earring, shoes, denim outer shirt, man-necklace, Hot Topic T-shirt and beer gut I thought this was going to be some sort of subtext about guys in their late 30s or early 40s who are still in high school or college mentally. A subject near and dear to my heart, obviously. Troy looks like a dwarf version of Aaron Lewis from Staind with his greying beard. Sorry, I’ve never been able to see his mouth without thinking of Jimmy from South Park.

The shot of Alex in his Styx shirt running down the road already had me laughing pretty hard. There are lots of shots in this (like the camera circling 360 around Jodi Locke) that make fun of sloppy web content. Too bad it’s admittedly not very hard to parody that.

It would be hilarious for them to go back into Rosswood Hospital to see if the “HE IS A LIAR” scrawling is still there–there have been subsequent videos by other people set there where you could still see it! Of course, there were thousands of other new scrawlings from other people since then in those videos I saw, so there’s that.

I guess we’re going to get to some sort of explanation as to how Jay and Alex are still alive, since they are definitely the same characters and there is obviously meant to be continuity with the original MH, which means that we’ll probably see Tim and Brian and whoever soon. Unless Troy was only able to make up with Joseph after, uh, ruining THAC’s finances or whatever the hell it was that caused the split. I don’t want to see Jessica again, I thought she was supposed to be a serious actress (LOL) and they were mystified that they got her in the first place. But she wasn’t a great character. I guess we’ll get to see if Troy and Joseph’s acting had gotten better. Frankly I’d rather see Noah Scammon or the fuckin’ characters from the MH movie than see Jessica again.

The dumb blonde guy probably shouldn’t become a recurring character. This pseudo-funny shit is dragging on way too long and if this is going to be some mixture of Marble Hornets and Youtube content parody then that will probably not bode well. I mean, I liked some of the THAC stuff but I wouldn’t want to see them mixing the two styles.

I’ll go ahead and comment on these if you want. Or I’ll probably just do it anyway (this will not be like me ignoring new Dream Theater content, I genuinely don’t feel like listening to that stuff anymore) but I seem to recall you being really uninterested in the ECKVA series, which God knows if we’ll be seeing more of that, though I really liked a few entries, God knows where it was going. It seems to have died just like Clear Lakes 44!
