…the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, no word on Viewers Like You. They’re closing up shop.
I haven’t listened to 89.3 (your jazz and justice station, Pacifica WPFW), 90.1 (WCSP, C-SPAN Radio – yup, it’s on Internet and Sirius XM but it has an honest-to-God terrestrial signal in DC so wherever you have FM reception you can listen to Congress. If you have an HD radio, you can go to HD-2 for the Senate or HD-3 for Book TV), and 90.9 (originally “Classical WETA”, boldly rebranded to “WETA Classical”) in some time. I really ought to. I’m most worried about PFW. They’re a better jazz station than WETA is a classical station and it’s a jazz station at all, and their audience consists mostly of students, middle-class minorities, and hipsters, not great couch-cushions to look under. I’m not sure they take public funding though; it kind of goes against their anti-corporate image despite being affiliated with the Pacifica Foundation.
C-SPAN is of course funded by cable and satellite providers. We’ve all heard that the model of only streaming services is killing ESPN, but how’s the old SPANner going to survive?

Would the weak anti-American pussies at PBS have had the nerve to do a 2 hour Jack Parsons documentary? -

Yes because Jack Parsons represented everything American currently stands for. -
