I really hated those mainstream pop hits from this time at the time but i really liked the Outkast album and still think its really good, especially The Love Below, Andre 3000s portion of it. It is basically 2 solo records from Andre on one CD and Big Boi on the other. Never got into Speakerboxxx the other one from Big Boi much because im not a big fan of hip hop. Andres album is more like a Prince album a lot of it than rap or hip hop and I still really enjoy it. Theres some orher tracks that are even better than Hey Ya which i’m pretty sick of now. That song at least is well remembered these days though.

Its a shame the rest is kind of forgotten because theres some really good songs and works really well as an album despite some cringe lyrics here and there.
