There were various jokes that alluded to aphrodisiacs in Cosby’s work, this was pointed out in that overlong documentary that came out about him recently. I think that the big downfall came at the end of a long sort of downslide for him anyway, people joked about him and his voice and his 80s sweaters and his commercials and whatnot for years and I don’t think newer generations care much for The Cosby Show.

Louis CK - Wrote for SNL and Conan O’Brien and directed Pootie Tang but got his own sitcom and a bunch of hit stand-up specials later on and was more acclaimed for those. He was actually pretty good for yet another George Carlin-derived sarcastic-type. He even made the cover of Rolling Stone (deuhr.) His fall from grace had something to do with people coming forward to admit he was a public masturbator.
