I think alot of officers/career military don’t like Trump. I remember someone I know who is a conservative and a colonel (maybe he was a major at the time) saying, during Trump’s first term, “We used to learn about these kinds of developments in classified intelligence briefings, now we just have to read about them on Twitter at the same time everyone else does,” or something like that.
