But no, it appears that Ron Isley from the original 1954 lineup is still officially active as a backup vocalist as of 2026.
Bingo! Inducted into the Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame as a composite, selecting 7 representative members from 3 different groups under the same name. That’s certainly the only time something like that has happened. Had hits in three different decades with three different lineups with little if any (?) overlap - their lineup chart at the end of the article is quite something. They’re the Fall of R’n’B!
