I liked some aspects of that movie though the whole thing has been a bit of a putoff. I really don’t like that Maude said “consistency is not really a human trait” which is the kind of thing pseudo intellectual assholes say all the time to defend their own fuckups nowadays.

Cort was hideously burned in a nasty auto accident in the 70s. Last I saw of him was in The Life Aquatic but he also had a cool Arrested Development cameo.

Van Der Beek, uh…I couldn’t make it through 15 minutes of that show of his back in the day even though I was in the target audience range for it, I kinda liked Varsity Blues when I was in high school but it’s probably not something I could watch today. But it does serve as a nasty reminder of how young you can be and still get got by fuckin colon cancer, so RIP.
