Hey, did you ever finish those ’90s top tens, or did you and it was so lame I didn’t notice. No, I know I mentioned the Titanic song, which made its biggest box office impact in 1998 (oddly, as I have no taste or affection do for movies, I remember as clear as day the mall in 1997 – oddly, I think I remember it being an October or November picture).

I had a separate version of this post about 1989, and how much my dad played “Straight Up” by a future-D-lister Paula Abdul when he worked out in the living room. I can’t listen to that song objectively, obviously, but it’s pretty boss if you can get past the very turn-of-the-decade New-Jack-swing-adjacent R&B production. But then I remembered it waa ’90s. As WWF beauty said on an episode of Raw in 1995, gosh darn it! (I don’t know if she’s privately pulling a bit.)
