Pablo Cruise will live on in Yacht Rock heaven......even the band name sounds like a yacht.
Bread helped usher in the MOR pop of the 70’s(acoustic ballads with strings). It seems like most of the songs had an abundance of major 7th chords. Their piano player was Larry Knetchel who gained fame as one of the elite session players in the Wrecking Crew and played the piano on Bridge Over Troubled Water.
