I remember him as the original Francis Dolarhyde in Manhunter in 1986, where his named was spelled “Dollarhyde” and the ending from Red Dragon was changed to a ridiculous, stupid scene of William L. Petersen charging at him through a glass window in his home in slow motion, from about 30 feet away where he would have been seen well in advance, while “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida” plays in the background.
