I haven’t been going out of my way to follow this, but for various reasons Katy Perry seems to have become very unpopular in the last two or three years. I think she had an album tank recently while Taylor and Sabrina hog the spotlight. But I see a lot of shit being hurled at her on various subreddits. Since I’m not sure how popular Trudeau is even with lefties anymore, I can’t say with any great certainty that this will be a big boost for her.
