Are they even interested in any of the old George Carlin knockoffs? Kinison, Andrew Dice Clay, Bill Hicks, Dennis Miller, Dennis Leary, Bill Maher, Penn Jillette, etc.? These people are all really old or dead now and I think for the most part they’ve all aged terribly. Kinison is probably the worst offender–just really crude gross out humor and blue-collar-asshole stuff that was probably watered down to create losers like Larry the Cable Guy. I bought a couple DVDs of his concerts and they were horrible. He had Hendrix impersonator Randy Hansen come onstage and play guitar while he sang some shitty blues rock songs.
