I can't believe you couldn't find ANY good songs on such a diverse album

but I’ve heard both that the Clash made the album six vinyl sides both because a)they needed to do a certain number of sides to complete their contract and b)they wanted a full document of their time in New York City and realized themselves it would have been better as a single album.

It’s Hard is mediocre stadium rock but if it’s terrible than every post-1973 Who album is terrible. As opposed to just average and mediocre, which is what I think all post-1973 Who albums are.

I thought Phobia was boring, but not anywhere near as bad as it was supposed to be.

My pick for the weakest album made by a classic band that wasn’t a novelty album is Jethro Tull’s Rock Island.
