Well geez, if only he had played Tom Sawyer as the obligatory added American character to The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen, everything would have turned out fine and it wouldn’t have been Sean Connery’s epitaph! Fuckin’ Koenig, get shit right huh?

Goofy Babble anecdote: the teen horror movie Jennifer’s Body, which (despite not being a very good movie) came out around the time of Koenig’s son’s death, and had a subtext about how people like tragedies, and one character uses the phrase “tragedy boner” at some point. I remarked on this and Michael Danehy responded by saying it must’ve been a secret reference to the death of Koenig’s son, because he played a character named “Richard ‘Boner’ Stabone” on Growing Pains. He closed the post with “RIP Andrew Koenig.”
