Okay, that Omelas sequel you posted had a few nice bits, but was mostly smarmy as hell. If that’s what wins awards, then that’s just one more irrelevant “awards show.” It certainly doesn’t make me want to read any of the others.
Le Guin does PKD? That’s probably next.
I mean, re: Gene Wolfe…well, George R. R. Martin demanded a lot out of me too, I just wasn’t young enough to bite back any longer.
Should I try to hunt down right wing Brothers Judd style reviews that hate Le Guin for writing about androgyny? Don’t answer that.
