let alone Musktopia. Being “with it” with things on social media only matters on social media, or high school.

(Seriously, messages boards that used to occupy hours have largely been subsumed into Reddit and social media, so if you’re on neither you spend most of your online free time… reading the news and absorbing information – you don’t spend nearly as much time on your phone, and the thought of posting and reading doesn’t even come into play so it saves mental real estate. It’s a fantastic time- and mental-energy saver.)
(I gather that it’s hip because Gen Z is always talking about it but never doing it, and there are detox retreats where you play with puppies and go on nature hikes and the like.)
