Pacing has always been Terry GIlliam’s biggest problem. Time Bandits, Munchausen (especially) and Brazil. It feels like the 2nd half of of Brazil just runs in place. Also Gilliam hated the woman playing the “dream girl” and it shows. She is photographed and directed in an unflattering manner.
