Holmes is a psychopath obsessed with manipulating and lying. while Fielder is unshakable in the face of crazy people and has a talent for getting those crazy people to reveal unexpected things about themselves. I cant imagine what Holmes motivations are for agreeing to this project aside from her thinking that she can out-manipulate everybody and that it will work in her favor somehow.
I stared watching the Amanda Seyfried series The Dropout about her story. Seyfried does a great job in the role but even she might be too likable of an actress to portray someone so soulless.
Supposedly the movie also has Fielder doing renactments of his interactions with her after she is in prison, effectively also making this The Rehearsal movie which is cool. That series is fantastic.

You recommended Backrooms and Nirvanna The Band The Movie or whatever it’s called to me. I swear I will see these movies!

Yep i think you’ll like both. Backrooms defintiely has it’s flaws as a first feature (clunky character writing mainly), but I just had a great time with the premise. I’d actually recommend the youtube series more than the film actually since it captures the found footage creepy pasta type of thing that Marble Hornets tried to do but only occasioanlly succeeded at. And the cryptic ARG elements actually have clues that can be deciphered and make sense (unlike totheark stufff).

Nirvanna is hilarious. I think the series finally got a streaming deal after being in legal limbo for so long so hopefully people will be able to watch the show legally again soon.
