Sadly, we did play “smear the queer” when I was a kid, and it was really STUPID. You go for the ball, then get the snot knocked out of you.

I probably wouldn’t hate that Aerosmith song that much if I were hearing it for the first time–I don’t hate “Jaded” anymore–but everyone immediately hated it, even when I was a kid. It’s impossible to divorce it from how much people hate it.
