I’ve never really given the first Love album a fair shake, it didn’t do a lot for me on first listen. I love Notorious Byrd Bros - I really dig Draft Morning, sort of a chill stoner protest song. Apparently it was one that Crosby pretty much wrote and was finished after they kicked him out of the band. The whole album feels like they moved from acid to weed - though “Artificial Energy” is an anti-speed song! Is this the album where one of the bonus tracks is just everyone yelling at Michael Clarke to play better? I can’t believe they released that.
