I like Counterparts, but I wish that I’d bought it in the ’90s when I probably would have loved it. I think about half of it stands out. Two the two you picked, I’d add “Stick It Out,” “Between Sun & Moon,” and “Leave That Thing Alone.” Nothing really lives up to the first track though, one of my favorite Rush songs.
I would like Alien Shore and Nobody’s Hero more if I didn’t understand English.

The second verse of Nobody’s Hero always confused me. I thought the first verse implies that the character was admirable for opening the narrator’s mind by taking him to parties full of gay people, and is therefor a low-key hero of sorts. But then the girl in the second verse just does nothing special and gets…raped and murdered or something??? Are these real people that Neil knew?
