Bought Dragon Quest 1 & 2 yesterday and I’ve played some of the first one. It’s all new. It’s a remake of the original, but it adds so fucking much. More spells. A whole new class of MP-using battle abilities. New storylines. New cities. New monsters New equipment. A map feature. And a distinct lack of difficulty which can make it seem at times as if it is all for naught. Just playing straight through the game with normal exploration I can one-shot any enemy.
