PReviously I listened to classical music by sitting down with dedicated time and listen from start to finish with good speakers and absorb the music with no distraction.

Now with two kids, I often only listen to music coming out of ipad (although now the ipad break down, it’s not comign out of a\ iphone speaker) as they ran from room to room and have that playing in the background. I kind of felt guilty treating classical music as background music and not giving it the respect it deserves and hence ended up not listening to it at all.

I really want to just to sit down with attentive listening but lack of time to do this
Maybe I could listen to it when driving the car where I could have the volume up but even then that’s not completely attentive listening as I am still focus on driving.

Since having two kids, I stopped going to classical concerts and stopped my subscription to local orchestra. Maybe when the kids are older and could appreciate it, I could return to this (when they are old enoguh to start learning instruments). Right now the kids only really like kids music
