This is technically a big-lie or strawman tactic but does he actually think any number of families tuning in for the president on the morning of the 250th anniversary of the Fourth of July are (a) believing the Democrats are literal political “communists” (actually socialists since communism is an idealized end-state) and (b) caring so much about the detailed warnings so much it would sway their vote?

If Democrats are communists and America is so susceptible to Marxism, why would they be Democrats when there’s an actual CPUSA? This is the stupid timeline.
