I remember hearing a little about Grizzly Man before seeing it and expecting to be someone who would stick up for Treadwell, and then I saw it and totally wasn’t going to take that position. Good movie though.

I’ve talked enough about the Mad Max movies in the past. I still like them more than you do but less than I did in my teens-early 20s. I haven’t seen Furiosa.
I do like the first movie more than Thunderdome, although Thunderdome is the one I like more than I did in highschool. The plot about the kids was the original concept, and it was decided later to make Max the adult savior. It’s the movie that George Miller had the least control over, since it wasn’t originally his project.

Every time I see on of these, I image little kids fighting to the death in it

Master was in Freaks 53 years earlier.

It’s actually not clear to me that the world of the first movie doesn’t still exist in the next two, they could just be further from the remains of civilization.
