I don’t remember everything, but the events of beating the giant/troglo quest are sufficient to trigger what you need to move forward with the game. I assume you found other “evidence” when you did the giant/troglo quest, and whatever you need to do to get let into alien beast land was possible from only doing one quest or the other.

You have to do (slimes OR roaches) AND (giants/troglos OR golems) AND alien beasts to open the endgame, which is short.

Am playing Bard’s Tale remastered. I was liking it but it’s starting to get repetitive, although it seems like I’m reaching a difficulty spike that should help.
