I don’t care for the reserve tanks either. Then again I can’t ever remember using them.

I forgot to mention that I’ve always sucked at wall jumping too, but it’s really not important if you’re not speedrunning/sequence breaking. It’s pretty assholish to put that save point in the etecoon pit. I always use the mechanic where you can charge up you beam, crouch, and drop a bunch of bombs to tell where that hidden pit is so that I can jump over it and get the energy tank without falling in the pit.
