Well Lakeside Park is on Chronicles and they were playing it alot as late as the Farewell to Kings tour, so somebody in the band must have liked it.
The regular encore (I think the same one used at every show) on their 40th Anniversary tour was:
Lakeside Park
Anthem
What You’re Doing
Working Man
I’m guessing they picked it because it’s a nostalgic song. Day would have been the more obvious pick.
