I’ve been sick the last few days and have been able to keep down little, so I’ve been subsisting on fruit punch but I’m feeling a bit better today so I’ll try to fix supper tonight. But I was able to play a bit today and I’ll try again tomorrow.

I went to the northwest to look for more monsters, in the only part of the map I had yet to go to, and found only undead around Marish. I cleared the Chasm of Screams and killed the nasty fight with the Lich, the hardest battle in recent memory. The first time I got wiped out and even the second, when I used a little strategy and items and healed every turn, my priest died. Was that the remaining monster infestation besides the golems? I wouldn’t have been able to kill the Lich and clear the dungeon until now.

There’s a small portion of the map unexplored: in the far northwest, in western Footracer Province, between the mountains and the sea, west of the walled-off part. I’m going to poke around there anyway, but is there anything major there? Should I go take on the golems now?
