I managed to miss this whole discussion.

I’m a vet of the series going way back to when Exile II came out.

I’ve loyally bought the entire series in multiple forms, always planning to plow through the whole lot in order, but I tend to get burnt out after a while. I’ve only finished to completion the following:

Exile III - the original version of the one you’re playing I think. Haven’t played it in decades but I recognise those games.

Avernum (the first Exile remake). I’ve actually finished this one twice and really enjoyed it.

I’ve got the second remake trilogy on ipad and was quite enjoying playing it with the pencil, but I hit burnout when I reached the Abyss section.
