Castlevania really isn't an unfair game.

It’s just hard. Only Frankenstein and the Grim Reaper reach ridiculous levels of difficulty, and you can spam them with holy water. The third game is harder. I’ve beaten it, but only with the “Help Me” code on the last few levels.
