Like I said, the 80s sure would’ve been a lot more fun!
Another year where I don’t remember a single damn song (except for “Smooth” which they still play on the radio even to this goddamn day). Maybe that’s because it was the first year I lived outside of America and they didn’t have Youtube or streaming services back then, so I had no way to keep up with pop music currents. It was a pretty good year, a memorable year of firsts for me: smoking opium in the hills of Laos, losing my virginity to a ladyboy against a backalley wall in Pattaya, seeing people eat pizza with corn & mayonnaise as toppings.
